As It Is Premiere “The Fire, The Dark” Music Video

UK emo revivalists As It Is have released a new music video for their song “The Fire, The Dark” via a premiere through both PopCrush and Loudwire. The Ian Coulson directed music video is wonderfully shot, and features footage from the band’s recent UK/EU tour and continues to show off the amazing showmanship of each member of As It Is, as their live shows seem to feature the same high energy theatrics that one would find at a show for former rock band, My Chemical Romance. The amazing connection between band members and those in the audience is also lovingly showcased in the video, which is always great to see as As It Is tend to treat their audience with the utmost respect.

The release of “The Fire, The Dark” music video wasn’t the only thing As It Is had to announce to their fan base today, as they’ve also revealed guitarist Ron Ish is now an official member of the band. Ron Ish had the following to say about the band’s special welcome, “Collectively, the team is the strongest it’s ever been and we’re all excited for our future together. The amount of love and support from fans all over the world has been incredible thus far and finally being able to announce my permanency with As It Is and say it out loud feels good. Thanks for having me. Got love.

If you enjoyed As It Is’ new music video for “The Fire, The Dark” and would like to check out even more amazing songs from this insanely talented band, I would suggest starting with their latest release, The Great Depression, which also happens to feature “The Fire, The Dark” and a handful of other amazing tracks which can be found on all major streaming services. Seriously, one of my top 10 albums from 2018 right here don’t miss out.
