Following the release of their latest double single, CrossRoad, featuring two exceptional songs in the form of “CrossRoad” and “Luv Affair,” Korean pop-rock band Tu:Zi, otherwise known as 2Z, celebrated the release with a small trek across the United States in the form of the 2025 Glory Dayz In The US tour which crossed the finish line on June 29 in Los Angeles at the intimate venue, Brickroom LA.
With doors expected to open around 7 pm, I made my way to the area, which proved to be a bit of a headache due to the part of the city undergoing what looked like a pretty extensive roadwork project directly in front of the venue. But, that wouldn’t kill my fun, as I explored around a bit before approaching the intimate venue where a nice-sized line could be seen forming.
The crowd would prove to be lively as laughter could be heard, and small groups could be overheard sharing stories of the band, with some first-time introductions also taking place. Instantly, I knew 2Z’s From A fan base were a dedicated group out in full force to give a proper high-energy send-off to the band as they would return to South Korea following the show.
I also got to include my own little message of support for the band in the form of signing on a cute flag that was being passed throughout the growing line, as more and more signatures could be seen filling the dead space as the night continued on. I always love seeing this type of support, knowing that no matter what size the group, there is almost always at least one person who has been impacted by their music.

As the time pushed onward in what felt like a quick pace, we would unfortunately receive the news that the venue was experiencing sound issues and the band would have to delay the show for what would become an hour and a half while the Brickroom LA awaited for their sound tech to arrive and remedy the issue.
Thankfully, the group helping out the band with the night’s show was A-class and provided the line with water bottles to keep everyone hydrated, as well as keeping the flow of information coming and going as questions would arise. Turning what would usually be an annoying situation into a bigger bonding moment, the crew would also provide some giveaways in the form of trivia questions. Creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for what could have become a horrible time.
While I observed as more of a newbie fan, I quickly would learn how level-headed From A were and deserve an award for being some of the most chill fans I’ve had the pleasure of standing in a line alongside. No one complained about the band’s unfortunate delay, and instead, it would seem to only fuel the passion and energy they would provide for the band later that night.

With the sound issues now a thing of the past, the line began hustling through the small entryway, making our way up stairs where a lifted stage would be found and tons of seating and a complete open floor, creating the most chill “friends and family” style show I have attended, and these type of shows always prove to be some of the best.
It didn’t take long for 2Z to walk through alongside the crowd before appearing atop the lifted stage, giving their fans finally what they had been waiting for. With the appearance of keyboardist and DJ ZUNON, the crowd would begin to scream at the top of their lungs as the rest of 2Z took to the stage, jumping right into their high-energy and electric single, “Turn My Camera On,” setting the correct vibe for a night that would be filled with singing, dancing, and head banging.
The intimate vibe of the Brickroom LA proved to be the perfect playground for 2Z as they could interact first-hand with their dedicated fan base, constantly making eye contact with concertgoers, as well as vocalist Hojin giving fans even more to remember as he could be seen throughout the entire performance hamming it up for the sea of phones recording every minute.

Proving to be masters of their instruments, guitarist NUVorn would demolish the venue’s walls with his soaring guitar solos and expert precision, all while keeping the high-energy crowd engaged with each riff that echoed through the venue. While NUVorn rocked out in his own world, bassist Junghyun showcased my favorite instrument like he was cutting through butter smoothly, lifting the soul with each pluck of the bass strings.
ZUNON, of course, was having a mini-party all to himself throughout the night, waving to the crowd, one-arm dancing, and stroking the keys like no other, creating the backbone for the rest of 2Z to dance around.
How about 2Z leader and drummer Bumjun? Who knows, he was put in a corner! All kidding aside, Bumjun appeared to be having the time of his life as each hit of the heads of his kit rocked through my heart, synching up perfectly throughout the night as I constantly found myself getting lost in the band’s wall of sound. And that brings us to Hojin, the bunny rabbit himself, constantly bouncing across the stage between his bandmates, smile flashing and vocals soaring high, creating the bookend for a one-of-a-kind performance.
The band would tease the crowd a bit before jumping into one of their latest singles, “Luv Affair,” “ACT 1,” and “Great Force,” to name just a few. Having listened to the band’s discography on the way to the show in the nefarious LA traffic, I had quickly come to the conclusion that the band’s live versions of each song exceeded my own expectations, quickly helping me rearrange my own personal favorites.

One of these was 2Z’s very infectious, “STUPID,” a song I had fun with while listening, but became a clear favorite of mine throughout the night as the band brought it to life in such a fun way that had the entirety of the venue dancing along. It’s 2Z’s playfulness with their fan base that will keep them growing for years to come, as throughout the night, I could easily see how much energy a band like 2Z could bring to the table if ever given the chance to perform at the legendary KIA Forum.
The band would constantly exclaim to the crowd how appreciative they were of the fans having waited throughout the hour-and-a-half delay, while also letting the crowd know they had “saved our energy for our last concert.” And it could be felt within the weaving of each song, the energy levels of the crowd would not lower, and it just added to the fiery performance that the band would continue to provide.
2Z would go on to perform “Time Machine” before giving an incredibly heartfelt speech, before diving into their emotionally charged lead single, “CrossRoad.”
Between both songs, the band would connect on a heavy note with the crowd, showcasing the importance of life and to “love yourself.” Hojin specifically would hit me hard with a speech about his tattoo, and going on about suicide, which is a dark hole I myself have come close to experiencing, which right away, gave me an instant connection to the song as the band brought it to life flawlessly, leaving us with the wonderful life lesson, “let’s make our life more beautiful.”

The band would go on to perform another of my favorites of the night in the form of “Not without U,” which gave me the sing-along fix I had been hoping for after the sing-along moments with “Luv Affair” prior. 2Z would also calm my Coldplay-loving heart by giving their all during a cover of the band’s BTS collab track, “My Universe,” which in itself would reignite the screams from the crowd as the entire venue sang along once more.
Another sleeper hit of mine throughout the night was their “2Z Anthem,” which, for some reason, gave me the biggest smile as I further experienced just how much love this fan base has for the members of 2Z. A wonderful moment that would further cement memories. 2Z would also mention previously that they do have plans to return to the US again sometime this year, with hopes to perform in bigger venues. I know I will for sure be attending that upcoming tour with haste.
2Z would unofficially end their set with “Superstar” before walking off towards the side of the stage, leaving ZUNON alone, which would create a sea of “encore” chants before the rest of the band would retake to the stage, jumping into the true final moments of the show with an explosive performance of both “Doctor” and “It is U.”
The band and fans would also get a chance to sing for Hojin as he would be presented with a birthday cake, which he would go on to blow out the single candle and the band would take their bow before the wonderful and memorable night of dancing, singing, and memory making would come to a sad close. At least until next time, which thankfully doesn’t seem like we’ll have to wait too long for.

2Z’s close of their short but sweet 2025 Glory Dayz In The US tour at the Brickroom LA proved to be one of the best shows I have attended this year so far. I loved the intimate backdrop of the small venue, getting to share my own energy with those who have been in the fan base for years, creating memories that I will remember through each song that comes on through Spotify going forward. It was a sensational experience that, though plagued with a small sound issue, corrected itself, perfectly, into me being excited to see them again and again.
For now, though, fans of 2Z and new listeners can stream their latest double single, CrossRoad, through the streaming service of your choice while we await the band to announce their next moves.
