Buffalo, NY’s own up-and-coming pop-punk misfits, Silver Proof, are continuing to shuffle through the scene with the release of their latest single, “Stickman.” Following the release of “Driven” earlier this year, the band’s newest single hopes to push the envelope a little further through the band’s own take on the shifting pop-punk and post-hardcore soundscape.
Alongside the release of “Stickman” across streaming platforms, Silver Proof has also paired up with Ultrabird Studios to bring the single to life with the release of their first music video. The music video for “Stickman” takes the themes present through the new single and mixes them with beautiful simplicity, and even sees the guys taking over the stunning historic Riviera Theatre.
With the release of “Stickman,” Silver Proof continues to build atop their already static-shocked catalog that includes the heavy-hitting “Driven,” the emotional overture known as “Marble & Gold,” and the melodic “Sixth Sense.” “Stickman,” however, does come off as the band’s most replayable experience, at least for me, as I’ve already hit the replay button more times than I can count while singing along at the top of my lungs.
Silver Proof’s latest single can be streamed now across streaming platforms. Also, if you find yourself in the Buffalo, NY area on October 4, swing by the Banshee Irish Pub, where the band will be performing alongside Indie rockers Oscar’s Cash.
