SHINee is back with their highly anticipated full group comeback, perfectly ringing in the group’s 17th anniversary. SHINee’s new single “Poet | Artist” sees the group returning alongside the late and talented Jonghyun, whose presence is felt throughout the colorful and bright single, featuring a vocal bridge of the late member creating an emotional vortex of tears, both sad and happy.
The Jonghyun-written and composed single comes to life in the group’s whimsical music video that transports members Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin through many different scenarios as the group takes on each with glee, creating an eternal playground.
Alongside the release of the “Poet | Artist” music video is the group’s 17th anniversary comeback that includes the special song, “Starlight,” which goes on to complement further “Poet | Artist,” creating an overall wonderful comeback that’ll keep the attention of SHAWOL for a good while.
I know, at least in my experience, I’ve had the song on constant repeat, and have loved getting myself lost in the sweet soundscape created by SHINee for this comeback. The whole experience has been beautiful.
