MONSTA X Hypes Upcoming Comeback With Fiery Pre-Release Single, “Do What I Want”

MONSTA X returns with infectious pre-release single, "Do What I Want."

The goblin kings are BACK! Continuing the celebrations of their 10th anniversary, MONSTA X has released their new, infectious pre-release single, “Do What I Want.” Ahead of their upcoming comeback EP, The X, the group’s new pre-release single acts as the first taste of new music for their hungry MONBEBE fanbase.

Alongside the release of “Do What I Want” is an amazingly cheesy and fiery music video that perfectly captures the fun-filled spirit of MONSTA X, from the home-video style to the group leader, Shownu, giving fans a shirtless show while sporting angel wings. It’s all perfectly tongue-in-cheek while capturing the fun spirit of the group and song itself.

Among the few, both MONSTA X members JOOHONEY and I.M are among those credited for writing the group’s new earworm sensation, further proving no one does it quite like them. “Do What I Want” should prove to be an explosive mid-summer anthem, keeping feet dancing, hearts racing, and MONBEBE fed while they wait for the group’s full comeback release in just a few weeks.

MONSTA X’s upcoming EP, The X, featuring “Do What I Want,” will be released on September 1 across digital platforms. The upcoming mini-album can also be purchased in the form of various exclusive physical formats, including some signed editions, which are still available.
