Maggie Andrew Makes Her Escape With New Music Video For “Did You Cry”

Maggie Andrew releases her new music video for "Did You Cry" alongside the release of her latest EP, 'HOW TO SING FOR MONEY.'

Alt-pop powerhouse Maggie Andrew is celebrating the release of her latest EP, HOW TO SING FOR MONEY, with the release of her new music video for the emotionally heavy “Did You Cry.” The MOOSECANFLY-directed music video takes viewers on a wild ride as Maggie Andrew portrays a runaway bride making her great escape from a toxic relationship.

On the subject of “Did You Cry” and its newly released video, Maggie Andrew shares, “I wanted to conceptualize the aftermath of a breakup. When you’re with someone and think you’re in love, it’s easy to make promises. The video represents running away from something—or someone—who turned out to be no good. By contrasting stillness with chaos, it captures the wreckage that comes from having your heart broken.”

Maggie Andrew’s latest EP, HOW TO SING FOR MONEY, features “Did You Cry,” alongside her buzzworthy singles, “Fall Like A Feather,” “How To Sing For Money,” and “Emotional Touchdown.” The new release is a roller coaster of sound that’ll fuel your senses throughout your time listening as the themes unfold.

On her new release, Maggie Andrew explains, “I think HOW TO SING FOR MONEY offers a clear view into another dimension or chapter of myself. It reveals who I am and what I can do if I have the tools and the opportunities.”

Maggie Andrew’s HOW TO SING FOR MONEY can be streamed across streaming platforms now.
