The Format is officially back on the permanent menu! Celebrating their reunion, the group has decided to release their new single, “Holy Roller,” during the midst of their small reunion stint across the United States.
Alongside the release of their new single, The Format has also dropped an accompanying music video, shot on 35mm film and directed by the talented Vanessa Pla. The simplistic video showcases the band in their glory in stripped-back fashion; nothing too flashy, just the guys and their instruments as they allow their new release to speak for itself.
The Format’s new single, “Holy Roller,” will be featured on the band’s upcoming album, Boycott Heaven, their first since the 2006 release, Dog Problems. The upcoming album will be released on January 23 via the band’s own The Vanity Label and will feature a total of 11 songs.
Pre-orders for Boycott Heaven are currently happening and feature a now sold-out signed vinyl, a variety of other vinyl options, a cassette release, a standard CD, and a plethora of new The Format-branded merch for their new single.
