Maimuna Memon Breaks New Ground With Latest Single, “Sinner”

Maimuna Memon is breaking new ground with the release of her beautifully crafted new single, "Sinner."

Multi-talented artist Maimuna Memon is ready to break new ground with the release of her latest single, “Sinner.” Already an accomplished creator, Maimuna Memon has seen success with her one-woman show, Manic Street Creature, which won a Fringe First Award, Stage Award for Performing, and the Mental Health Award. She’s now looking to take over the somber-pop music scene.

“Sinner” is an all-consuming love story. It reflects on the deep connections we have to our ancestors, the religious guilt we inherit and the hope of breaking free from the choices the ones before us made.

Bringing her flare to the somber-pop genre, “Sinner” is an instant win, creating a powerful flow between the past and the present constantly in strands. A beautifully sounding piece that had my senses floating about, as the combination with her soulful vocal delivery made for an instant classic.

Co-produced alongside Neil Comber and Jonathan Quarmby, Maimuna Memon showcased her skill by writing such a powerful release and performing each instrument included. I’m already excited about her next release, if you can’t tell.

If you can’t get enough of Maimuna Memon’s transcending pop sound, you should also check out her previously released tunes, “First Born Child” and “Calling.”
