New Found Glory is one month out from the release of their upcoming studio album, Listen Up!, and these pop-punk legends are giving listeners yet another taste of their new tunes with their latest single, “Beer And Blood Stains.”
Dropping a fun-filled visualizer to accompany the new single, New Found Glory’s latest release is heavy, non-apologetically New Found Glory, and should blow the roof off the place within a live setting. Capturing a specific tone that longtime fans will love and newcomers can easily enjoy.
On the topic of “Beer And Blood Stains,” New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert shares, “This is the heaviest song on the record, but it almost sounds like a party. At least that was the goal. It’s about an old venue we used to play when we first started. We’d play there pretty much every weekend. It was a lot of hardcore bands. Looking back now, it was a dangerous place…so many fights and craziness – illegal things that wouldn’t fly now. This song is about how much fun we had, but not realizing how close to the edge we were.”
New Found Glory’s upcoming album, Listen Up!, featuring “Beer And Blood Stains,” drops on February 20 via Pure Noise Records, and if you haven’t yet, you can pre-order the album in a variety of ways, including album-themed merch.
New Found Glory will also be hitting the road with Yellowcard and Plain White T’s on the Up Up Down Down Tour, kicking off on May 6 in Atlanta.
