Alongside the proud release of her new single, Nicole Alexis has also released a beautifully put-together lyric video that brings the themes of “Goodbye” to life, creating a tragically poetic visual backdrop for the powerful song.
On the track itself, Nicole Alexis shares, “‘Goodbye’ is really about mourning an older version of yourself. It’s about outgrowing patterns, relationships, and identities that once felt safe, even when they were hurting you. I wanted the song to capture that emotional tension between wanting to move forward while still desperately trying to hold onto what’s familiar.”
Nicole Alexis is currently preparing a new wave of acoustic-driven EPs, with “Goodbye” as the first taste of these releases, available to stream on listeners’ favorite streaming services.
